Shout out to our School Nurses Amy and Jacey on School Nurse Appreciation Day! Thanks for all you do!

From bandaging scraped knees in kindergarten to helping middle schoolers manage test anxiety with breathing strategies, and prioritizing healthy, safe environments, school-based nurses support students in many meaningful ways. Our students benefit from regular care provided by highly qualified professionals, and we are incredibly grateful for the dedicated nurses who serve our schools each day. Thank you Nurse Amy and Nurse Jacey for all that you do! #alwaysanlgtiger #lagrandetigers

From bandaging scraped knees in kindergarten to practicing breathing exercises with middle schoolers experiencing test anxiety, and prioritizing healthy spaces, school-based nurses support schools in many ways. Thanks to our partnership with IMESD, students in our schools receive care from qualified personnel on a regular basis. We are so grateful for the wonderful nurses serving our schools.

Some lessons last a lifetime, and so does the memory of the people who teach them. The impact of having an amazing teacher can never be erased. To all our incredible teachers: We see you and we appreciate you.

Hello Central Families!
As the weather starts to heat up, please take a moment to review Central's dress code policy- The following is taken directly from our Student/ Parent handbook:
Dress Code
Parents are responsible to ensure students are appropriately dressed. The following guidelines should be used in determining if a student’s clothing is appropriate:
*Shirts should include a minimum 2 inch shoulder strap
*No underwear should be visible or worn as outer garment
*Skirts and shorts are to be worn at fingertip length or longer
*No midriffs showing
*Swimsuits may be worn under regular school attire and should not be visible
*Clothing, apparel, or temporary tattoos should not contain messages with sexual, gang, alcohol, tobacco, drugs slogans, or other slogans inappropriate for school
A dress code violation will result in the student notifying parents they need to bring appropriate attire before returning to class or by borrowing a clothing item from our stock at school if that is available. Continued violations may result in disciplinary action.
Thank you for your support!
