Raffle!  Then the Island City ram mascot and "Support the Island City PTO!!!!!"

The Island City PTO wrote the following letter to its supporters:

Supporters of Island City Elementary,
 
This year marks the second year for our PTO that we are unable to hold our annual Island City Elementary School Carnival Fundraiser due to COVID circumstances. Before the pandemic, each year the PTO has been able to rebuild our funds to continue the support we love to give our school, students, teachers, and other staff members.  Since we are unable to hold our fundraiser again this year, we are asking our community if they would like to donate to the Island City Elementary PTO.  

During the Covid pandemic, the Island City Elementary PTO has been able to help finance unforeseen costs such as new chairs that are easier to clean and sanitize, new and more technology to help aid in the distance learning, and direct support to teacher’s classroom supplies to send out to students. Before the pandemic hit, we had set a goal to save enough money to fund new playground equipment.  A goal that we believe that is still possible to accomplish with your help and support!

Our community has always been a big supporter of our school. This year we have an opportunity to keep things local and give back to them! We have gift cards from Tap That Growler, Mamacitas, Local Harvest, and Cinco de Mayo, along with, 2 Anthony Lakes Ski Resort day passes that we will be raffling off. For every $5.00 you donate to the Island City PTO, we will enter your name into our drawing for a chance to win one of those Gift Certificates or Anthony Lakes Ski Resort day passes.
